To get to Paris first we (my dad and I) had to fly to melbourne from sydney which is a one hour flight and then we flew to Hong Kong which took eight hours. On this flight i had a good sleep and I had my shoes off so my feet got really fat and made it a bit of a challenge to put my shoes back on again at the end of the flight. When we got off at Hong Kong we got off the plane downstairs in the airport then we had to go upstairs and wait for a while then we got back on the exact same plane except this time we had better seats. We got back on the plane and sat in our new seats. On this plane flight we talked about how long the plane flight was going to be and worked out it would be twelve hours, then we watched movies, ate, slept, and played some card games.
Finally we arrived in London and got off the plane, found a map then got on the train and got off at King's Cross station. While we were there we dropped off our bags at a luggage storage place so we could go to Covent Garden and have a look around. At Covent Garden we had some food and a drink then we had to race back to King's Cross to get our luggage and get to the international train station on time so we could catch the train to Paris. For about the whole train journey I slept then i woke up and I was in Paris!!! We had finally arrived!!!!
We exited the train station and saw my auntie waiting for us. Then we all got in a taxi and went to her apartment, had a shower then went to bed and fell asleep strait away.
In the morning everyone woke up and we went to the shop and got une baguette and some croissants. we came home and had a very good breakfast!!!!!!!
A very long trip, Millie, however you were very lucky to have slept most of the way!!! Glad you enjoyed your first breakfast and can't wait to hear more news! Love and hugs, Gran xoxoxo

ReplyDeleteIsn't Paris great, I wish I was still in France.
